How the pipeline works

Mirrors a professional recruitment workflow (Hudl/Wyscout · StatsBomb IQ), adapted to a national-team context where you cannot buy players — you track the eligible universe and time your call-ups.

Universe — every eligible player worldwide (K League, overseas Koreans, heritage / dual-national prospects).
Longlist — filtered on position need, age, minutes, level.
Watchlist — under active data + video monitoring; form tracked live.
Shortlist — call-up candidates, benchmarked against the current incumbent.
Call-up ready — cleared on form, fitness, eligibility & availability.

Percentiles are ranked against positional peers (per-90, possession-adjusted where relevant), top/bottom bounds ≈ 95th/5th percentile — the StatsBomb radar convention.

Reading the percentile radar

Each axis is a position-specific metric, scored 0–100 against peers in the same position and comparable competition level. The white outline is the current incumbent in that position — the shortlist question is where the prospect matches or beats him.

Metric templates differ per position (GK / CB / FB / DM / CM / CAM / W / ST), following the StatsBomb IQ per-position radar model.

Game Intelligence — SkillCorner

SkillCorner uses broadcast tracking to measure what players do off the ball — the ~97% of a match spent without it. For recruitment this exposes movement quality and tactical fit that event data alone misses.

Off-ball run profile — volume & threat of each run type (in behind, cross receiver, support, pulling wide, overlap). Bar shade = threat percentile vs positional peers.
In-possession — progressive & line-breaking passing, passing under pressure, runs targeted.
Physical index — top speed, sprinting, high-speed running, accel/decel, distance, high-intensity — benchmarked vs position & league.

Demo values are synthetic but shaped to the SkillCorner data model (get_physical, get_in_possession_*, get_dynamic_events_off_ball_runs). The live board pulls these nightly via the SkillCorner API.

Scouting report — how it works

Each staff member files their own assessment per player, so the board holds multiple independent views (scout, analyst, coach) rather than one opinion. Structure follows the professional standard (PFSA-style report + the FA four-corner lens), adapted for a national-team decision.

Four-corner ratings (1–5) — Technical, Tactical (decisions), Physical, Psychological, plus Role / system fit.
Two-tier level — current level (readiness now) and potential in 2–3 years.
Int'l readiness — the NT-specific call: ready now / next window / 1–2 yrs / long-term.
Recommendation — priority follow-up / monitor / no follow-up, colour-coded.
Notes — strengths, areas to improve, summary verdict.

Reports are session-only in this demo (no back-end). Use “⬇ Export reports” to download every report as JSON. In the live version they save to the staff database behind Cloudflare Access.
